Android — “Allow all the time” is usually NOT in the popup
Google often only shows Allow this time / While using for web apps. You must set location in App info:
- Long-press Travel Tracker on home screen → App info (or ⓘ).
- Permissions → Location.
- Pick Allow all the time (or the most permissive option shown).
If you opened this in Chrome (not home screen), set Chrome → Permissions → Location to the strongest option, then use the home screen app for trips.
While on a trip we keep asking GPS on a timer so you still get points if the screen sleeps. Unrestricted battery + App info → Location → all the time.
